The indulgence continues throughout The Lodge. Cooked breakfasts in the Lodge breakfast room; pre-dinner drinks and canapes in the Library cocktail bar; a gourmet experience in Wildside Restaurant. The 4-course evening meal features Tasmanian produce presented with passion and flair by resident chef Will Godman, along with an impressive selection of 300 local and international wines. How about a night cap? Displayed in the Lodge whisky cabinet are over 120 fine single malts!

Wildlife, wilderness, walks and waterfalls there are over 80 bird species in the region. The Waterfall Walk is a 1-hour return walk starting from the Teez Cafe. Take the special journey along the path through temperate rainforest with towering gums and huge ferns, often accompanied by the intriguing songs of lyrebirds. The Waterfall Walk includes a 5-metre high wooden board walk and a cantilevered viewing platform overlooking Tarraleah Falls.

Take a break from the activities and tease & tantalise your taste buds at the licensed Teez Cafe, offering lunch, high teas and treats. Enjoy fresh mountain air and sensational views whilst dining on the balcony, or relax by the central wood fire with an espresso coffee, Tasmanian beer or glass of fine local wine. Tarraleah is a scenic 2-hour drive from Hobart, Launceston or the Devonport ferry terminal and is situated along the popular Hobart - Strahan touring route. Airport transfers are available.
