Highland Cabins and Cottages, at Bronte Park in Tasmania's Central Highlands, offer a range of contemporary self-contained accommodation. The first cabin was built in 2003, and the newest cottage completed in January 2007.

There are studio apartments, one or two bedroom spa cottages, or a two bedroom cabin to choose from. Enjoy the high standard of quality fittings and room facilities.

  
The cottage kitchens offer full sized under bench ovens, stainless steel bench plates, and microwave ovens. The newest cottage offers something extra, a dishwasher, to really make your stay relaxing. The studio apartments have microwave ovens and bench top ovens, large enough to cook a roast in. All accommodation is fully equipped with crockery, linen and the comforts of home. Each accommodation has a toilet that is separate to the bathroom. The spa cottages have corner double spa baths. In-cabin entertainment includes televisions, DVD and CD players. Wood-heaters warm the cottages, and electric heating keeps the studio apartments cosy. Every cottage or studio apartment has individual undercover car-parking.   Highland Cabins and Cottages is an ideal base to take advantage of bushwalks, inland fishing, sight seeing, exploring, and Lake St Clair. Break your journey at Highland Cabins and Cottages when travelling between Strahan and Hobart. Discover the origin of the Derwent River, marvel at The Wall, inspect the Waddamana Power Station Museum, and experience the Lake St Clair ferry ride. Only 3.2km off the Lyell Highway, our location is perfect to escape traffic noise and bright lights!
