Franklin Manor, built in 1896, has become synonymous with everything that embodies tranquillity, warm hospitality and affordable indulgence.

Originally the harbour master's residence, the manor has been lovingly restored with great style and offers the discerning traveller premium accommodation with fine food and wine.

  
Today, guests may select from a range of elegant rooms, a spa and open fire, or, perhaps choose a little privacy with one of the stable apartments situated in the garden.

14 in-house rooms, all with ensuite, include two executive deluxe rooms each with spa and open fire and two deluxe rooms comfortably appointed with king size bed and window seat. Standard rooms offer shower/bath ensuite and queen bed.

Four deluxe stable apartments are located in the manor grounds offering the comfort and flexibility of open plan living, family room and large bathroom.

Continental and/or full breakfast is served in the dining room.

   Guests can enjoy the company of fellow travellers in the sumptuous lounge with its soft lamplight and roaring log fire, select a wine from the manor's extensive cellar or mix a favourite cocktail at the bar. The celebrated restaurant serves food in the casual modern style with an emphasis on quality Tasmanian produce and fresh local seafood. Dining at the manor is an experience not to be missed.
