TALL TIMBERS TARKINE EXPERIENCES

 EVENING PENGUIN TOUR
Journey to the foreshores of Stanley and 'The Nut', one of the 'Edge of the World' icons, where expert guides will introduce you to the little penguins in a colony that has been a drawcard for visitors for many years. This is a great tour for involving the children - a really close and very moving experience as you watch these birds go about the daily rituals of life at sea.

FULL DAY WILDERNESS TOUR
Begin the adventure by taking a scenic drive through Christmas Hills, Brittons Swamp and Marrawah. These places are well known for their undulating green hills which are mostly used for milking and crops. Leave the sealed road and continue the journey through Arthur River and its surrounding beaches. You will see Mt Cameron, West Point, Nelson Bay, Couta Rocks and views of the great Southern Ocean. At the 'Edge of the World' its time for morning tea and a stretch of the legs. Lunch is to be served at Julius River Forest Reserve, where you will enjoy a gourmet lunch prepared for you by the chef at Tall Timbers.

The second part of the journey takes you to Lake Chisolm, where you will enjoy a 30 minute walk through the temperate rainforests. Then you continue through the back roads of the Circular Head district. Pass through Trowatta, Nabageena, Lileah, Alcomie, Mengha and Forest, before heading down to Stanley. While in Stanley you can enjoy a tour of Highfield House as well as look around the town.
