Formerly a tele-communications centre, c1935, the Old Cable Station at Stanley now provides comfortable and stylish accommodation.  Rooms are available on a bed & breakfast or self-contained basis, with a choice of king size, twin or double beds, all with private ensuite bathrooms.  Spa suite also available.

The restaurant (open during the summer season only) sources fresh local seasonal produce from the surrounding north-west coast and scallops, octopus and crayfish from the local deep water fishing port of Stanley.

The menu is set with a 2 or 3 course option and the wine list features local Tasmanian boutique producers.

Clean, sandy, white beaches are 5 minutes away where black swans and other water birds linger and fairy penguins can be seen at night.
