OLIVE'S COTTAGE

 
Olive's Cottage opened its doors to guests in mid-2004, after extensive renovations to take advantage of its light and airy structure, and its wonderful views to the Tamar River and vineyards beyond. Your party enjoys sole occupancy of this cosy holiday home, complete with barbecue pit, herb garden and landscaped gardens. 		 
  Ideal for two couples, Olive's Cottage has a main bedroom with a queen-size bed and a second bedroom with a double bed. Both bedrooms are lovely in the early morning sun. Nearby, a welcoming sitting room is ideal for morning coffee and taking in the views of the Tamar.

The Cottage's bathroom has a front-loading washer/dryer, making it ideal for an extended stay.
The cottage has a combined lounge, kitchen and dining area, in a yellow-toned colour scheme with aubergine contrasts. Reverse cycle heating/cooling makes for a comfortable retreat, with a CD, DVD, radio and television provided for your entertainment.

Gourmets and food lovers alike will find the well-equipped kitchen a pleasure, with magnificent views and modern appliances such as a microwave, dishwasher, electric stove top and oven.

   Covered decks with outdoor furniture complete the picture, perfect for quiet contemplation or an inspired breakfast or dinner.

Windermere is a great base for your exploration of northern Tasmania. A short drive from Olive's Cottage you will find vineyards, orchards (seasonal), historical attractions and some of the state's top-rated restaurants. Bush walks, beaches and mountains are also a pleasant drive away.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY:
    If cancelled 8-28 days prior to check-in, a fee equal to 20% of the value of the stay is charged. If cancelled 7 days or less prior to check-in, a fee equal to 50% of the value of the stay is charged. Amendments are permitted 8-28 days prior to check- in and attract a $40 administration fee.
