The spacious house is fully furnished and has a well equipped kitchen, large comfortable lounge room, separate dining room, bathroom and 2 toilets. Downstairs there is a well equipped laundry, additional shower and lock-up garage.

Tan-Y-Bryn is cosy in winter and cool in summer with a ducted reverse-cycle heat pump system. For your entertainment there are 2 television sets, a VCR/DVD player, an audio and CD player. Books, games and children's games are also on hand.

Full breakfast supplies are provided for the first morning and there is complimentary tea and coffee, biscuits and port. All bedrooms have electric blankets and clock radios and there is a hair dryer in the bathroom.

Tan-Y-Bryn is situated at the eastern boundary of the Wellington Park, Hobart's largest flora and fauna reserve. On the doorstep is a choice of mountain walking tracks suitable for all age groups, providing access to the mountain's waterfalls, rainforest, fern glades and alpine areas.

Together with its tranquil setting, Tan-Y-Bryn, offers very easy access to all that Hobart has to offer. Delightful waterfront cafes and restaurants, art and craft shops, famous Salamanca market, galleries and many historic buildings are all an easy ten minutes drive away. Day tours to the Huon Valley, Derwent Valley and Port Arthur are all within easy reach, returning to warmth, comfort, peace and privacy at the end of the day.
