The Freycinet Paddle The contrasts are stunning - pink granite mountains, pristine sandy beaches and blue waters so clear you can virtually touch the marine life below. Unearth the secrets of Freycinet. Pass quietly by wildlife such as majestic sea eagles. Be inspired by tales of shipwrecked whalers, intrepid French explorers and the ancient culture of the Oyster Bay tribe. Relax at a secluded beach and enjoy a freshly brewed tea or coffee in the company of a small group and friendly guide. Freycinet in a Day The Freycinet Peninsula and sea kayaking were made for each other! Sea kayaks allow you to slowly explore the spectacular coastline, passing quietly by wildlife such as majestic sea eagles. Discover the history of secluded coves such as Honeymoon Bay and the Fisheries, tales of shipwrecked whalers, French explorers and the ancient culture of the Oyster Bay tribe. Our friendly guides provide a safety briefing and paddling instruction before taking you into the water in stable double kayaks. From the moment we set off you will be amazed at the stability of the kayaks and unique perspective of the coastline that sea kayaking offers. Following your sea kayaking experience, collect your lunch and board the Aqua Taxi for your cruise from Coles Bay to Hazards Beach. Enjoy the easy self guided 30 minute walk to Wineglass Bay, Freycinet National Park. Wineglass Bay has become renowned around the world for its pristine waters, white sands and true wilderness setting. Take time to wander barefoot, relax , swim or simply soak up the stunning surrounds. |
4 Day Freycinet Expedition Over 4 days, immerse yourself in the essence of the Freycinet Peninsula on a relaxed guided sea kayaking and walking adventure into the heart of the national park. Discover the feeling of freedom and rejuvenate in the fresh sea air. The 'sea level' experience offered by a sea kayak provides a truly unique perspective of this spectacular coastal wilderness. With the advantage of a one-way Aqua Taxi trip, we have more time to explore the Peninsula, with plenty of time for walking, swimming and relaxing. The Hobart Paddle We paddle in small groups along the shoreling of historic Battery Point to Salamanca and 'The Docks'. Be part of the vibrant waterfront as your glide past historic tall ships, fishing boats and modern yachts. Not only will you learn about the city, the mountain and the docks but also enjoy a snack of Hobart's legendary fish and chips straight from one of the punts - without even having to get out of your kayak. Our professional, relaxed guides provide all the equipment and instruction you need before taking you out to explore in stable double kayaks. From the moment we set off you will be amazed at the stability of the kayaks and unique perspective that sea kayaking offers. Our guides love this beautiful part of the world and look forward to sharing stories of its culture to enhance your adventure. With every trip we ensure that safety is a priority; that everyone has a relaxed time in an enjoyable atmosphere and the environment is respected.
