Day Tours:
Flinders Island Adventures organises a comprehensive range of tours for up to 6 people using a modern Toyota Landcruiser to enable the visitor to see not only the more accessible beauty spots but also to explore some scenic highlights and areas of interest not so accessible.

Tours visit a selection of locations, depending on interests, prevailing weather and track conditions. Short walks and time to explore are a feature. All day tours include lunch and afternoon tea. You are picked up and returned to your place of accommodation.

Flinders Island Adventures are licensed by the department of Environment and Land Management.

Lookout and Trails
From West End over Mount Tanner to Killecrankie Bay, Wingaroo heathlands and Mount Boyes. Patriarch Lookout, Red Bluff to Sellars Point, Walkers Hill Lookout through the heart of the Darling Range and on to the Strzelecki Range and National Park.

Beaches
Palana, North East River, Patriarch Inlet, Watering Beach, Trousers Point Beach, Fotheringate Bay in the Strzelecki National Park, Sawyers Bay, Settlement Point, West End, Killecrankie and the Docks.

Historical and Environment
Emita Museum, Wybalenna chapel and settlement of the Tasmanian Aborigines, Patriarch Wildlife Sanctuary, Camerons Inlet, Logans Lagoon, East Coast Wetlands, heath land and wildflowers in season, Strzelecki National Park.

Island Product Shopping
Whitemark, the island's capital, is where you find Sweet Surprises Coffee Shop and the excellent bakery for a wide variety of delectable things to eat. Furneaux Gallery for art and craft. The Gem Shop for Killiecrankie diamonds. Killiecrankie Enterprises for gemstone and souvenirs.

Discover the Best of Flinders Island
These packages are designed to show some of this beautiful island in a short period of time, getting you to some of the remote and lovely areas that the visitor rarely sees. The tour not only takes you to secluded coves and rugged coastlines and up to high lookouts, but also to the Museum at Emita and historic 'Wybalenna', site of the last settlement of the Tasmanian Aborigines.

4 Day Discover Flinders Walking Tour:

Day 1:
On arrival to flinders Island you are taken first to your accommodation, then up to the west coast to walk the coast and bays of Settlement Point. Visit Wybalenna and the Furneaux Museum. Dinner provided.
Walking on Day 1 - approx 7.5 km

Day2:
Walk the northwest coastal region of the Dock travelling south to Killiecrankie bay and have the opportunity to fossick for the famous "Killiecrankie Diamonds". Complete the day with a visit to Palana and the North East River. Dinner provided tonight in accommodation.
Walking on Day 2 - approx 9km

  Day 3:
An option today to take the charter boat "Strait Lady" to visit some of the 52 islands surrounding Flinders Island, including a visit to Cape Barren Island and the opportunity to do some fishing. Or, explore the darling range in the south of the the island. Dinner provided again this evening.
Walking on Day 3 - approx 7km (non boating option)

Day 4:
On the last day climb to the summit of Mount Strzelecki National park, lunch at Trousers Point Beach and then back to the airport for return flight home.
